Dear Board Members, I wanted to reach out before Yom Tov. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your commitment to the shul. We have not had a regular board meeting in a while, and I wanted to update you on a number of items. We Iyh will be having a board meeting in the week(s) following Sukkos. • Rosh Hashana preparations are almost concluded. This year we are seating between all the minyanim 345 people. This is down 30% from previous years. • A draft budget has been prepared. This budget has an approx. 65k defecit for the year. However, this budget is based on a number of unknown factors. We feel that following the Yomim Noraim, we will have a better grasp on the trajectory of the year and we will be able to have an informed productive conversation at that time. • We are still working with our adjuster to reach a final settlement amount with the insurance company regarding the roof damage from the tornado on Aug 10th. We are working on bidding out the needed work to a number of roofers. We assume that we will be able to have the damaged areas fully repaired by the end of October.
