Project Focus: Focus. Protect. Connect. This Tuesday, September 4th, is the city-wide major Internet/Technology awareness event organized by and with the strong endorsement of all Chicago Rabbanim. The event will be on Tuesday night, September 4th at 8:00pm at the Ziegler Center, 7080 N. McCormick Blvd. Lincolnwood. The Rav strongly encourages men, women and all high school and above age children to attend. There will not be any late Maariv minyanim at shul.

Shul Notices:
The Shul has a bike rack outside next to the ramp. Please ensure that your bikes are properly locked. Bikes are not permitted inside the Shul.
Are you having a hard time seeing? Do you no longer know what time it is? Perhaps you are missing glasses, a watch, keys and more things. The shul has been steadily collecting lost items. Please take a look in the window by the secretary’s office. Perhaps you will find something that is yours. Please note: Lost items such as jackets, hats, scarves are put into the coat room. Items left in the Shul more than 30 days will automatically become hefker.
As our shul and minyanim grow, logistics play an increased role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly. If you are planning a Simcha, please let the office know as far in advance as possible to ensure everything runs smoothly.

This Monday, (Sept. 3) Labor Day, there will be a Legal Holiday Shiur and Breakfast following the 8:00am Shacharis with Rabbi Mordechai Millunchick, on the topic “Heavenly Jurisprudence: Pleading Our Case on Rosh Hashana.”
Important Yomim Noraim Announcements:
The Youth Division is again providing childcare on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur for children of all ages. Children must be pre-registered at www.adasyeshurun.com/babysitting by Wednesday September 5.
The Shul will, once again, be making the zechus of the aliyos and kibbudim for both Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur available for purchase. Please note: There will only be a pre-sale of kibbudim at all minyanim. To reserve a kibbud please contact Rabbi Millunchick (773-307-8833) or please visit www.adasyeshurun.com/pre-sale. There are still a few aliyos available.
The shul has expanded its Kol Nidrei Appeal and asks all mispallelim to consider Yeshurun among your primary tzedakos during this time of the year. Yomim Noraim and Yikzor donations can be given at www.adasyehurun.com/yizkor. Thank you to the many families who have already donated.

The Shul maintains a list of cholim. This list is refreshed monthly. You can add a name and download this list on the right side of the Shul’s homepage.
A September 2018 meeting for Beat 2411, covering the area west of Ridge from Pratt to Howard, is scheduled to take place in conjunction with Beat 2412 at Devon Bank, 6445 N. Western, on Tuesday, September 4, at 7pm. Representatives of the Chicago Police Department will be present to listen to citizen concerns. It is important that as many members of the community attend as possible.
